Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is offering an elevated take on a cherished afternoon tradition with its new Mountain-Top Afternoon Tea, whisking guests away on a breath-taking journey to the glorious peaks of the Pacific Coast range.
The exquisite outdoor experience, created with No Limits Helicopters, starts off with an unforgettable 45-minute helicopter tour. There’s nothing like seeing forested and snow-covered mountains that seem to go on forever from high above, a rare chance to marvel at and savour this incredible part of the planet.
Guests will soar over majestic Cheakamus and Garibaldi Lakes, each one worthy of ooohs and ahhs, before flying past mighty Black Tusk, a remnant of a volcano that formed some 1.3 million years ago within the northernmost reaches of the Canadian Volcanic Arc.
The helicopter’s experienced, knowledgeable pilot will then take guests to the ancient Tantalus Glacier for a 30-minute stop. First things first: out comes the Champagne for a toast to celebrate the power and beauty of nature.
Then it’s pinkies up: with glorious 360-degree views, afternoon tea is served, catered by the Resort’s award-winning culinary team.
On the menu are thoughtfully curated and prepared savoury and sweet bites, complete with Classic and Blueberry-Orange Scones with clotted cream, lemon curd, and a selection of artisanal marmalades.
