The Deighton Cup’s best fashion looks from last weekend was a spectacular show of whimsical women hats and fascinators from miniature race horses to lemons and yellow rubber ducks.
Held at Hastings Racecourse, we saw an abundance of hats with flowers and feathers in bold colours paired with stylist dresses both long and short, accessorized with heels, gloves and mirrored sunglasses.
Even with the hot weather during the weekend, the men attending the race did not disappoint.
We observed gentlemen in top hats with tails, colourful embroidery blazers and some flamboyant tailoring. Some opted for a summer look of a shirt, vest and vibrant bowtie paired with shorts.
The Deighton Cup drew thousands of fashionable race fans, many sipping on Piper-Heidsieck champagne while enjoying a tasty light lunch from Earls. Attendees had a menu choice of a tuna bowl, chicken sandwich or a veggie burger.
