A weekend of style and elegance awaits Vancouverites on the grounds of VanDusen Botanical Garden from September 10th – 11th as Vancouver, the supercar capital of North America, once again hosts the Luxury & Supercar Weekend. Featuring the best in automotive design, the latest fall fashions from Oakridge Centre and, for the first time, a Hawksworth pop-up restaurant, there is sure to be something to please any lover of luxury.
Over $200 million worth of vehicles, representing the world’s most luxurious automobile brands, will be on display, offering car enthusiasts the chance to ogle collectibles, classics and latest and greatest from the supercar world.
Now in it’s 7th year, the Luxury & Supercar Weekend is the most exclusive automobile garden party in Canada and one of the most glamorous occasions on Vancouver’s social calendar.
As Craig Stowe, President of the Luxury & Supercar Weekend notes, the event “has become a destination to which like-minded friends and enthusiasts flock every year to indulge in their shared passion of all things automotive and luxury.”
Along with a panoply of exotic supercars such from makers such as Pagani, Ferrari, McLaren and Bentley, there is also the Canadian Concours d’Elegance featuring BMWs from the past 100 years, Italian sports cars from the 1950’s, American muscle cars from 1964 – 1970 and more. For the true automotive enthusiast, a live supercar auction by ADESA is scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
Along with all the automotive artistry, Oakridge Centre is presenting two afternoon fashion shows daily, featuring their top designer retailers including Blubird, MaxMara, Harry Rosen, Judith & Charles, DKNY, Stewart Weitzman, Michael Kors and more. New for this year is a garden dining experience by Hawksworth, offering brunch, lunch and dinner options.
With its winning combination of fabulous cars, designer fashion and fine dining, this year’s Luxury and Supercar Weekend is certain to be one of the most memorable in the event’s history.
