First ever appearance of French haute couture designer Pascal Millet in Vancouver for the grand opening of CICINO, our newest luxury boutique was cheered by adoring crowds last weekend.
Pascal Millet began his fashion career with Balenciaga and soon moved to Givenchy where he collaborated with Alexander McQueen. During his career, he created 13 haute couture collections. Now under his own label, he commands a loyal following of wealthy and stylist cliental spanning the globe from New York to Paris and now Vancouver.
On the runway in front of hundreds of Vancouver’s most fashionable clientele was Pascal Millet’s Spring Summer 2016 collection featuring the theme of Real Hippie Chic.
The CICINO grand opening runway show opened with a number of mousseline and crepe de chine seersucker pieces and lace for daywear. Followed by some superb tea length dresses in rich pink and yellow pastel brocade. For those special gala nights, a Hippie Indie Sexy accented Sari look.
